Well if your from the age of 18-22 Airtran has a system called " Air tran U" and its a standby system where all you do is go to the airport (2 hours ahead of time) show them your id and tell them you are wanting to do airtranU and what flight you want, and then go to that terminal, and whatever available seats they have left they will cal your name and let you on! I just bought a ticket to Boston from orange County CA for $200 round trip. If you don't mind the cold weather this is the cheapest time of year to go.
