What is the closest ski mountain to NJ in New York?
We want to go a good mtn w. terrain. We've been everywhere in the Poconos and have been to Mtn creek atleast 100 times, and want to try somewhere new. we live in the Newark area, any good mountains in New York that are close?
Hunter is the closest. The drawback of hunter is... it is icier than Mountain Creek. (keep those edges sharp!!!).
If you haven't been to Blue Mountain near Allentown (right by Carbon County), it is actually a decent mountain.
Frankly, drive the extra distance to Vermont. Plenty of places to ride and usually better conditions. I live near mountain creek and can see the South/Bear trails from my window

Either will blow away any area in the Pocs or Mtn. Creek.

yep! next closest was from florida with 12%..Indiana only had 7% along with texas and New York had a percentage in between there
