How old do you have to be to be a waiter in new york?
My family lives in the hamptons and last year I was a bus boy at a resturant (that serves a lot of alcohol) I was just wondering what the state laws are in NY for that. Thanks.
I was restaurant manager and some places will hire u when ur 16 but alot wont because u cannot serve alcohol so they like u to be 18 but some restarant will have the bus boy hand it out instead for u ..so it depends on the place
