What is the best vegan restaurant in New York City?
Please don't send me a link to a list of vegan restaurants. I would really like to hear about a place that you have been to several times and really enjoy. Personal experience please!! Thanks.
the good restaurant is Olive Garden they have good food, i can say exellent or do u like italian restaurants it's good too like the one the have near empire states a big place good fried clamps umm............
One very interesting experience I had the last time I was in New York was eating at Pure Food & Wine, an upscale raw place near Union Square. Get the tasting menu--it's expensive, but very good. Sadly, I've only been there once as I don't get to NYC nearly as often as I would like.
My boyfriend and I also went to Bonobo's another raw place near Madison Square Park. No, we're not raw foodies, but we do like the occasional raw meal. They're a casual lunch place with decent food.
If you're eating in the Theatre District, check out Zen Palate on 9th Avenue at 46th Street. They have several locations in the area.
I'm going back there next month, and I'll try to get more experiences.
I'm not a vegetarian, so I've eaten at only a few vegan restaurants. HanGawi on East 32nd Street between Fifth and Madison is wonderful. Nobody has to beg me to eat there. It's one of the few vegetarian restaurants that I liked.
I have a good friend who is vegan and Blossom on Ninth Avenue and 21st Street is her favorite restaurant. I have never been there (we eat at HanGawi when we get together).
After a long City Year day, at the wonderful restaurant & bar of CY's dean for vegan pizza.
ReplyDeleteSoCal folk: do you know any raw or vegan eateries near Studio City? Thanks.
