My favorite restuarants in nyc are: Blue Chill on 51st in between 7th and 8th. It is a pan-asian place.. excellent food, drinks and service. My other fave is Victors cuban Cafe. The best authentic restuarant by far. It is on 52nd and 6th (i think). GREAT FOOD and MOJITOS....., it pretty rare that i find a restaurant that i love bc i am really hard to please..but these are excellent.
