NYCFast Retailing to Open More Uniqlo Stores in NYC, Paris: Nikkei

Dec. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Fast Retailing Co. will open five to 10 large-format Uniqlo stores in New York City and Paris in the next five years, after success with the format in its single outlets in each city, Nikkei English News said, citing an interview with President and Chairman Tadashi Yanai.
Fast Retailing’s 3,300-square-meter (35,521-square- foot)store in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood was profitable in the year ended in August, Nikkei said. The Paris store, at 2,150 square meters, opened in October. Uniqlo stores in Japan typically are 660 to 800 square meters, Nikkei said.

ReplyDeleteThe Jewish Christmas Chinese meal is now a bit of cliche. Virtually every restaurant in my NYC neighborhood is open 2night.
